ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

Silver Safekeepers:

Sometimes we have found that a customer will report that their jewelry has tarnished while being stored in our Silver Safekeeper. This happens very rarely, but it has always been the same culprit- that we and the customer find has caused this to happen. Many customers will clean their silver jewelry before placing it in their brand new silver Safekeeper. We always caution, be careful what jewelry cleaner you use because certain jewelry cleaners can actually cause tarnishing if not rinsed and removed thoroughly from the jewelry piece. Many silver cleaners contain sulfur, which removes tarnish but can also cause tarnishing if it remains on the jewelry. What we have always found is that the customer has always cleaned their jewelry first and stored it in the silver Safekeeper in each instance, each person did not thoroughly remove the cleaner from the jewelry. This causes rapid tarnishing when stored in an air-tight box. We always recommend using a silver polishing cloth as the best method for cleaning silver jewelry. However, if you choose to use a liquid or paste to clean your jewelry, make sure you rinse for several minutes under running water in order to make sure there is no cleaner residue left on your jewelry. Please make sure your Silver Safekeeper jewelry boxes are closed tightly to prevent air from leaking in as that can also cause your jewelry to tarnish.

What can I put inside the Fillable products?

    We recommend dry or dehydrated non-spoiling items. Don’t put anything that would mold or rot if left out in the air normally. We also recommend you use small items that can be inserted and removed easily if you want to change the look of your product. Don’t force larger items into the products or it could break the plastic or scratch the walls if you have to remove them or move them around in your design.

Can I serve food from the Fillable items?

    Yes, all the Fillable products are made from food grade plastics. Hand wash before first use.

How do I wash the Fillable products?

    We recommend hand washing and recommend you do not submerge in water. The Fillable items are not water tight so if you have one decorated and submerge in water, the items inside the product will get wet and possibly deteriorate.

What are all the Fillable items available?

French Room Fragrances:

People often ask about our room fragrances and wonder why some wick up faster than others. The reason being, they are all different fragrances. Wicking up quickly does not mean that the fragrance will not be just as strong in the flower topper. The strength of the fragrance in the flower remains even when the bottle is empty and will continue to fragrance your room. Also, some of the fragrances, by nature, are stronger than others. You may notice this as well. One thing you may find is that people with sensitivities to fragrance really like our home fragrance products because they do not smell artificial.
